Mike Shiell enjoys long, slow commutes to his job as an animation director in Toronto (yes, another Canadian!). His cartoons appear in Reader’s Digest, Saturday Evening Post, BBC, CBS News, Prospect Magazine, Nickelodeon, The Oldie, NobleWorks Greetings, Lucas Arts, Hallmark, King Features, National Lampoon, The American Bystander and Weekly Humorist. Mikes Cartoon “The WANDERING MELON” appears on GoComics and a number of his cartoons have been animated and appear under the title, “The MELON SHORTS”. In his spare time Mike likes to spend time being grumpy with his family and dabbling in recreational snake handling.
