CARTOON: Olympic Beginnings

Damon McArthur is a Professor at Western Illinois University and an internationally exhibited painter and cartoonist. Except for a couple breaks to do much less interesting things, he has been painting and drawing continuously since he was a child. His work has been shown in New York, London, and on his mother’s refrigerator. His cartoons have appeared in Elements, The Harvard Business Review, Barron’s, The Oldie (U.K.), and Private Eye (U.K.). He has done some illustration work for Criquet shirts in Austin, Texas and for his seven-year- old daughter’s short stories.
