Not like an affair. I’m literally seeing this woman in the corner of my eye, all day, all of the time.  She is perpetually haunting my periphery. She’s been there for about a month.  At first I wasn’t sure if she was like, a bit of dust or something, but then I realized dust usually isn’t lady shaped. Also, dust doesn’t whisper. And even if it did, it definitely wouldn’t whisper about how I need to “sacrifice Maria to the Lord of Shades.” Whoever that is.
