In Loving Memory
Forever in our hearts, Charity Case will be remembered by all who knew her as a devoted mother, wife, and friend. Mrs. Case passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning, surrounded by those who knew her best.
Charity Case was born in 1942 in Kansas City, to Albert and Sue Greenberg. She was a pillar of strength and kindness in the community. A doting mother, she is survived by two wonderful sons, Head Case and Basket Case, and a beautiful daughter, Vanity Case.
Married for over 50 years, she was loved dearly by her husband, John Case, who tragically passed away in 2010. Her family and friends are grateful that the couple has been reunited in heaven, along with their family dog, Nut Case.
Charity enjoyed volunteering at the local soup kitchen, going on daily walks through her neighborhood, and meeting with her book club. She enjoyed engaging in robust debates on complex issues with her lawyer brother-in-law, I Rest My Case. Later in life, Charity was blessed with grandchildren, identical twins Upper and Lower Case.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Lawrence Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Suit Case Family Foundation, which provides children in need with designer luggage.
