LOGLINE
An alien was sent into the Kingdom of Caring to kill their finest warrior -— only to slay the hate in his own heart and become the biggest carer of all.
OVERVIEW
Care Bears vs. Predator is a heartstrings-pulling, family adventure that —- like Predator: Badlands —- jettisons the ultraviolence and uber machismo that made the original films so popular. Instead, the film delivers what people are coming to expect from a Predator movie: compassion, empathy, and safe entertainment for audiences of all ages.
SYNOPSIS
Crash landing in the Forest of Feelings, the Predator befriends a Care Bear Cousin, Gentle Heart Lamb, who takes the alien to her village, where Scare Bear is terrorizing their annual pumpkin festival. But right as the Predator has its triangular sights on Scare Bear, Noble Heart Horse and Brave Heart Lion make a convincing plea: violence is never the way.
The Predator relents and Scare Bear is unmasked —- it’s that devious Mr. Veririch in costume! He reveals he’s part of a broader conspiracy, in which a group of YIMBY developers plan to bulldoze the Forest of Feelings and build a small metropolis of luxury apartment towers atop its ruins. But, as Mr. Veririch details, this is only Phase One of their ultimate goal. Their real ambition lies in securing the most valuable land around, the city of Care-a-Lot.
Tremendously moved by the Care Bear Stare, the Predator joins the Bear Cousins on their journey to Care-a-Lot. There, they combine forces with notorious NIMBY, Tenderheart Bear, and save the kingdom from the clutches of short-sighted, urban zoning reform.
