CARTOON: Boxed Up

Julianne Frega and Nathan J. DiPerri met by providence in Providence and have been creating together ever since. They have sold cartoons to Weekly Humorist, The Spectator, The American Legion Magazine, 2 Million Blossoms, Please See Me, Maine Sportsman, Teachers of Vision, School Administrator, and Phi Delta Kappan. Their cartoons are licensed worldwide with CartoonStock.

By day, they spend their time in separate high schools, trying to teach their students about art and writing and life… or at least get them off TikTok for a hot second. By night, they spin plots and bounce joke ideas off of one another. Or they try to exercise. Their world views vacillate between idealism and total despair, depending on the day.
